My dining partner, Gail, and I recently ate at the Miyagi Ramen Bar located in the Safeway shopping center. I'm giving it a 5-star rating, though it could use some tweaks, because it's a unique restaurant in an area where there is a dearth of Korean offerings. The skin isn't as crispy as it should be and I like a soy garlic glaze instead. KFC is very popular in big cities like NY and Philly, but this is the first restaurant I've found in DE that serves it. The KFC was sauced in a soy ginger flavor. The ramen was very good.dark colored broth, but not too heavy. The naengmyun was good but I prefer it being a little colder, so I threw some ice into the broth. In addition, they just started a summer special menu that includes Mul Naengmyun, a very popular dish at Korean restaurants and my favorite summer dish (though I like the spicy version better). We tried the Shoyu Ramen with chicken, Don Katsu (deep fried pork on rice), and the Korean Fried Chicken. There are half dozen ramen options, as well as poke bowls and Korean rice bowls. line as DE, the restaurant advertises itself as a ramen bar. Named after the Miyagi prefecture in Japan, which is located on the same latitude. There are a handful that are Korean-owned with a mix of Japanese and Korean cuisine. In Delaware, there are decent number of Japanese restaurants (mostly Chinese-owned).
